Tap Settings, then Vehicles. Each truck’s capacity decides which orders it can take. Bulk Order Hero picks a truck that can carry both the volume and the weight of each load.

Add a truck

Tap Add truck and fill in:
  • Name: like Truck 2 or Tandem.
  • Type: Dump trailer, Single-axle dump, Tandem dump or other.
  • Max yards: the most it can hold by volume.
  • Max payload: the most weight it can carry. Not sure? Tap Calculate from GVWR and curb weight. GVWR is the maximum weight printed on the sticker in your truck’s door frame. Enter it and the empty truck’s weight, and the app works out the difference.
  • Days it runs.
  • Usual driver: who normally drives it. Their orders follow the truck.
Tap Save truck.
Weight limits matter. A 7,000 lb payload carries about 10 yards of mulch but only about 2.5 yards of gravel. Set each product’s Weight per cubic yard (in the product’s Hauling section) so heavy materials go to trucks that can handle them.

Truck labels

Downtime

Truck in the shop? Open Downtime on the truck and add the dates, with an optional reason like Brake repair. It won’t be assigned orders on those days.

Deactivate a truck

Deactivate truck stops it getting new orders and keeps its history. Reactivate truck brings it back.

Order size limits

With Fleet on, a single order can’t be bigger than what your biggest truck can carry. If an order doesn’t fit any truck that’s running that day, Dispatch flags it so you can call the customer to split it or assign it anyway.
