How a customer orders

1

They pick a material and a size

And tap Add to cart. The menu has a Yardage calculator if they’re not sure how much they need.
2

They type their address

Their delivered price shows up right away. If they’re outside your area, they’re told.
3

They pick a day and time

From your open time slots, or Flexible, and you agree a day with them.
4

They drop a pin where the load should go

They can also say if they’ll be home and leave notes, like a gate code.
5

They pay by card

Their time slot is held for 15 minutes while they pay.

After they pay

They get a confirmation email with a link to their order page. It shows where their order is (ordered, on the way, delivered), the spot they picked for the drop, and your delivery photo once it’s done. They can call or text you from it.

Other things customers might see

  • Text updates: a box at checkout to get texts about their order, if you’ve set up text messages.
  • A payment link: for orders you take by phone. They pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on their own phone. See Take a phone order.
  • An invoice: a page with your logo that they can print or save. See Print or send an invoice.
  • Pro sign in: if you offer pro accounts to contractors. See How contractors order.
  • Sold out: if you track your inventory and chose to stop selling a material when it runs out.

Things customers ask

No. They just type their name, email and phone. They can tick Remember me on this device to skip it next time.
No. All orders are paid by card when they order.
Before paying, customers see these terms:
  • The load is dumped in one spot at the pin they picked. The spot must be clear and reachable by a loaded truck.
  • Amounts are approximate, since bulk material varies. Delivery times are estimates: weather, traffic and access can change them.
  • Cancelling before the truck is loaded is free. After it’s loaded, they may still pay for the material.
  • Damage to driveways, lawns, sprinklers or utilities at the spot they picked is their responsibility.
